PRESENTATION OF AIDU TIBI

AIDU TIBI´S name means: Association for Integration and Development Urbanisations of Tibi.
Our logo reflects clearly the structure of the Tibi´s town, which is composed by several surrounding neighborhoods, located in a beautiful landscape, where blue colour represents the oldest operative dam in Europe and the green colour represents the forests and landscapes.

AIDU TIBI begins in June 2010, in the first of many meetings, between representatives of the boards of the seven estates Tibi, The Cistern, Maigmo, Bungalows, Bonaire, Terol, and Pine River Pinada of Mecli.
During the following months, the representatives discussed about the general and particular situation of the different housings.

The 7 Tibi´s housings are made up of more than 2100 plots and 800 single-family homes or townhouses. Of the approximately 1800 registered people in the municipality, 800 of them are outside the town, approximately 40%. Of them and at least 500 are in the housings.

But the fact is that there is a permanent population in Tibi between 1500 and 2000 people and can reach peaks of 3000-3500 people in holiday´s time.

None of the 7 Tibi´s housings has been receipted by the local authority. This is arriving to a confuse situation: the 2100 plots, 800 homes and at least 500 counted pay all their taxes to the authorities concerned and on the other hand, receive little municipal services (basically collecting trash and recyclables).

In urban deficiencies (sanitation, water, electricity, asphalt, and lighting) are added municipal deficiencies in health, education, security, culture or long distance transportation.

All are deficiencies are the reason than a high percentage of residents of the housings are not in the municipally census of Tibi.

Is the snake biting its tail. There are no services, no census, and no sufficient income.

AIDU TIBI emerges as an internal response of the housings ´residents. We are making a call to self-criticism, and that we are the first that we should mobilize to integrate and raise awareness of belonging to TIBI.

We are the housings´ habitants the first to must be aware that our integration is the key to the future of our town, and that the development and regulation of housing estates should be the common goal of all.

We are “Tiberos”. All the habitants together, from the town add the residents of housings and other isolated population can go further together. We must go further.


The focus of our future: Integration and Development Urbanizations’ Tibi.

Integration must be a credible effort, sponsored and promoted by all political forces in the municipality and support by all the population´s Tibi.
It is essential that we are all aware of the reality of social structure, economic and political term.
AIDU is presented to the municipal elections to give balance to that reality.

INTEGRATION

One of our basic objectives is to increase the number of registered voters in the municipality. It would have a positive effect on the municipal revenue. But this increase must come from the regularization of the population which is not in the census.

To do this, all the basics municipal services should be improvement and can arrive to all Tibi.

In health care, with a disseminate population structure is necessary to provide it with a permanent ambulance´s service, improve the surgery, beside to communicate the health gap created by a real population much higher than the census and scattered, to the competent agencies.

The creation of a Municipal Health Plan of Adjustment, in consensus with all political forces in the municipality and the central and regional administrations, is one of the premises to be championing the integration, an act which will reconsider the population of Developments worth living and be registered at Tibi.

In EDUCATION need much more than a school canteen, etc. Here's to fight against marginalization arising from social inequality and demographic information.
We must promote training activities in situ or in the town for people of all ages, and to strengthen the presence of a mixed service TAXI-BUS for long distance transportation and school, offering an alternative to the different needs of the population, both in education, health or other fields. All this without forgetting the need for regular line Alcoy-Alicante, is enhanced accordingly.

With regard to municipal services, we propose a specific plan of Services to the villages, equipped with a budget and must assume, among others the following objectives:

Regularization and control of domestic animals, promoting the municipal census, information campaigns, animal care and protection, etc.
Promote and coordinate the cleaning and maintenance of forest areas, whether public or private, for environmental conservation of the environment.
Creating an Eco-Park.
Training and information campaign on waste, recycling, appliances and pruning, not just housing estates, but throughout the term, also trying to safeguard our environmental heritage.
Improvement and adaptation of all refuse collection points, fixtures and recycling.
Creating a municipal collection of pruning, debris and other uncontrolled discharges. Not good for anyone that garbage collection points, become uncontrolled landfills or dumps.

Thus, the integration and coexistence among the inhabitants of the municipality must be promoted by their leaders, trying to establish an ideological background in a General Plan for Integration and Coexistence Tibi.

This plan should be based on the creation of a working group comprising representatives of all developments, isolated pockets and of course the village.
Tibi should revolve around the urban area and should establish communication vehicles, integration tools, conferences and joint events coexistence.
The neighborhoods must participate and enhance the town and the inhabitants of the town should be open to integration initiatives, both in their culture and heritage and in its economic and social life.
To begin with we propose the Annual Conference of Coexistence, a party intended to unite and get to know each other.
DEVELOPMENT

In these times of crisis, governments are experiencing unprecedented economic hardship and the worst is yet to come. The local economy has for many years in the red and the outlook is not rosy.

Impaired urban reception of almost all Tibi Urbanizations would stabilize the economy of the town and causing growth of the census, the ability to offer services and charge fairly for it.

Town planning of Terol is necessary, but as long as they reduce the costs borne by the residents. This can be done by controlling and proposing alternatives to the ostentatious proposals, looking for various government subsidies for co-financing, etc. AIDU-TIBI can take part in the decision making of the project, how and where to run the works, priorities, etc. NEIGHBORS THAT WE HAVE EARS AND VOICE

For us, development of the municipality of TIBI going through a real project of urban regularization of all developments, agreed with the various central governments.

This project, based course in the General Urban Plan (PGOU), should never be an excuse for the lack of development of the term or municipal services.
We cannot be even 10 or 5, or 1 year, without assuming the responsibilities of the urban municipality.

It is possible that there are so many basic flaws in the housings, it is possible that 6 out of 10 real habitants of this census, has shortcomings as basic as water, electricity, asphalt, telecommunications, lighting, etc.

It is possible that under the excuse that they are not Developments receptions, not to apply for grants from government agencies such as Provincial, Government, Confederation Hydrographical del Jucar, etc.


The power of that land is public domain belongs to the City.

Tibi cannot afford a Range and standing empty, cannot afford such basic deficiencies and serious urban, affecting to the 60% of its population. And all of this is because Tibi´s government is in the opposite side of Generalitat´s government, or at Provincial´s government, or the Central Government...

We cannot be slaves of bipartisan politics and power relations.

We propose a financing agreement and regularization of Tibi´s housings between the Governments agreed with council town with relevant central government, based on our independence, our ability to act as party hinge.

 AIDU TIBI could be an unbalance force between the two main political forces, PP and PSOE. If it is happens, we will be able to negotiate and facilitate a local government that works for everyone.
